Challenge/Opportunity

This project started out as a simple website re-design and evolved into a full re-branding effort for Redlands Massage Therapy in order to meet new communications and business goals associated with its business growth. Owner John Webster wanted to better showcase his value propositions and medical massage therapy services across all of his communications channels. His goals were to build on the success of his thriving practice and develop a reputation as the premier medical massage therapy practice in Redlands, CA.

Scope of Project

The scope of our work on this project included:

A full Targeted Communications Plan
A full branding package, including logo re-design and print collateral
A new responsive website

Solution

Our first step was to develop a full Targeted Communications Plan for Redlands Massage Therapy. We conducted interviews with the organization's leadership in order to identify the business model, value propositions, target markets and communications ob-jectives. From this analysis process, we were able to develop recommendations for improvements to the website design and content in order to better accomplish the client’s communications objectives. After our planning process was complete, we moved on to the logo design and other brand artifacts.

The website design came last. The concept was a vintage design that encapsulated the feel of historic downtown Redlands (as found in the new logo and new branding artifacts). We incorporated an earthy texture into the background of the website that enhanced the theme but did not distract from the new branding or the stunning outdoor photography (taken by the owner) that is featured throughout the informational pages. The outdoor photography and vintage feel also capture the holistic healing process of medical massage therapy.

We also assisted the Redlands Massage Therapy with content updates to ensure consistency in the messaging and accuracy of the information across the website (and on other brand artifacts) so that the it would align with the Targeted Communications Plan and serve as an effective communications vehicle for the business.

	Responsive Design All websites hosted on Blue Core CMS™ are cross-device and cross-browser compatible. Each website is integrated with jQuery 2.x, Bootstrap 3.x and supplemental JavaScript and CSS libraries. These open source libraries provide a useful balance between support for modern mobile-friendly website features and backwards compatibility with older browsers.
	Informational Pages Informational pages house static content on the website that may be permanent or routinely updated. The self-service administrative features on Blue Core CMS™ make it easy to safely perform these updates yourself. Alternatively, our support team can perform updates for you, and typically at no additional cost.
	Rotators A rotator can contain images, announcements or any other content deemed relevant to the audience. The moving elements keep content fresh and engaging and also highlight key messages or value propositions about your business.
	Forms Choose anything from a basic contact form to a full custom application form that can be submitted online. The forms delivered via Blue Core CMS™ are easily customized. Each form is backed by a database where the data provided by your website visitors is stored permanently. When visitors submit a form, the data is automatically written to the database, then sent to you and/or others in your organization as an email message. Advanced security features built into our Forms component prevent automated form spam from being submitted through our system.

	Routine Website Maintenance and Updates We provide ongoing website maintenance and updates as well as support services.
	Targeted Communications Plan Our team conducts a series of interviews with your company in order to identify and document your business model, value propositions, target markets and communications objectives. From this process we develop messaging, content and design that will help you leverage the website as a communications vehicle for your business.
	Full Branding Package We design full branding packages that include logos (with style guide and vector formats) and all of the supporting promotional materials, such as: brochures, letterhead and business cards. We provide you with all of the production files, supporting assets, fonts and final print files.
