Challenge/Opportunity

Priority Dent Repair requested a new responsive website that would contain modern design features delivered using the latest web technologies; and effectively showcase the company’s core value propositions and service offerings.

Scope of Project

The scope of this project was to:

Perform clean-up on an existing logo file and develop full a logo file package;
Design and development of the full Priority Dent Repair website;
Provide hosting and routine maintenance and support services for the website.

Solution

Priority Dent Repair came to us with an existing brand and the desire to develop a cutting-edge website that would serve as an effective communications piece for the business. We started the process by taking an existing vector version of the logo and cleaning it up. We cleaned up the logo icon and created an infinitely scalable vector format of the logo as well as all the color variations Priority Dent Repair might ever need. The final branding package contained all of the file formats the business would need to produce subsequent marketing collateral for any medium.

The client requested a red, white and blue color scheme to support the existing brand and a sister brand. Priority Dent Repair’s services are provided primarily to domestically to car dealerships, so using the colors from the U.S. flag could also be supported as making sense for the targeted market.

The website would be heavily visual with minimal copy as Priority Dent Repair’s business model is predominantly based on dedicated personal service with car dealerships. We created a single-page design with an easy-to-navigate information hierarchy and anchor links to navigate to the different sections of the web page. The Services section of the website provides an at-a-glance view of the auto re-conditioning services Priority Dent Repair’s provides, and the Gallery section is a visual portfolio of Priority Dent Repair’s work.

The website was built on our proprietary Blue Core CMS™ content management system, thereby substantially reducing costs and simplifying the process for performing routine maintenance and updates.

Built-In Website Features

	Responsive Design All websites hosted on Blue Core CMS™ are cross-device and cross-browser compatible. Each website is integrated with jQuery 2.x, Bootstrap 3.x and supplemental JavaScript and CSS libraries. These open source libraries provide a useful balance between support for modern mobile-friendly website features and backwards compatibility with older browsers.
	Sticky Menus Sticky menus remain in their default position as the page is scrolled - but only until they reach the top of the screen (viewport); at which point they remain in place (i.e., stuck to the top of the screen) as the page continues to scroll behind. This behavior provides an easier navigation experience on longer long pages; and is a basic feature of most single-page websites.
	Parallax Scrolling Parallax scrolling is the effect of a background image scrolling at a slower rate than a foreground element on a web page as you scroll down the page.
	Inview An inview element only appears in the viewport, or browser area, when the you scroll down a page on a website. An example of an effective use is a button that scrolls back to the top of a long web page. This button would not be in view at the top of the web page.
	Informational Pages Informational pages house static content on the website that may be permanent or routinely updated. The self-service administrative features on Blue Core CMS™ make it easy to safely perform these updates yourself. Alternatively, our support team can perform updates for you, and typically at no additional cost.
	Photo Albums Blue Core CMS™ supports photo albums for any collection of images you wish to showcase on your website. Our Photo Album Manager allows you to change the settings as well drag-and-drop the order in which you wish to present the images.
	Forms Choose anything from a basic contact form to a full custom application form that can be submitted online. The forms delivered via Blue Core CMS™ are easily customized. Each form is backed by a database where the data provided by your website visitors is stored permanently. When visitors submit a form, the data is automatically written to the database, then sent to you and/or others in your organization as an email message. Advanced security features built into our Forms component prevent automated form spam from being submitted through our system.

	Branding Packages We design and clean-up logo files. Our branding packages for logos include vector files (AI, EPS and PDF file formats), bitmap files (JPEG and PNG file formats), fonts, all color variations and a logo style guide for your brand.
	Routine Website Maintenance and Updates We provide ongoing website maintenance and updates as well as support services.
