Pacific Restorative Therapy
Owner John Webster was ready to build a web presence for Pacific Restorative Therapy (PRT), a business he founded with a mission to bring about a prelude to wellness for individuals through education and practice within a community of therapeutic and movement practitioners. Pacific Restorative Therapy emphasizes medical massage therapy, multi-hands therapy and craniosacral yoga (“CraniYoga”) as a means of healing for individuals. The other main focus of PRT’s business model involves providing education opportunities for like-minded healers.
As one of its main offerings in 2018, PRT organized a three-part Upper-Level Anatomy Dissection Series. In order to provided information and facilitate the registration process for prospective students, PRT needed a reliable information hub through which to communicate with its audiences.
We performed the following tasked for Pacific Restorative Therapy:
- Logo file cleanup (including full logo package and style guide)
- Letterhead design (Microsoft Word doc)
- Targeted Communications Plan
- Responsive Blue Core CMS™ Website
Pacific Restorative Therapy already had a logo; the illustrated icon of the sun and wave held a lot of meaning relevant to the business and its mission. While there was already a vector file, owner John Webster wanted to re-visit the font selection and look for something that better complimented the illustrated icon. As part of the logo cleanup process, we produced a new vector file, color variations and a logo style guide containing font families, the color scheme and sizing information.
While PRT was not exactly a new business, some aspects of the three different business models (for different audiences) at play were not yet fully developed until we worked with PRT leadership to develop a Targeted Communications Plan. The plan not only formally documented and defined the business models in specific terms but also helped inform what website features and information were needed for the website.
While the majority of the website is composed of informational pages, the “Classes” tab was one of the most important components to the communications and business growth initiatives for PRT in 2018. Apart from providing information about the upcoming education opportunities, there are two types of Blue Core CMS™ forms that facilitate the registration process: a standard data entry form for the registrant to provide their information, and a PayPal-integrated form that allows PRT to accept payments safely and securely through the website.
